Attention Milwaukee Softball Players, Members of the Milwaukee LGBT Community, Visitors and Anyone Who May be Interested

Whether or not your team wins a berth to the 2009 series, or even if you aren't a softball player, consider planning now to take the week of August 31 – September 5, 2009 as a week of vacation. There will be over 4000 athletes and fans from across the USA and Canada coming to Milwaukee and we're going to need hundreds of volunteers to help roll out the red carpet on behalf of Milwaukee and our Saturday Softball League.

Now – August 2009

We need volunteers to assist with the following committees:

• Registration (registration of players/coaches, handing out registration packets, selling cookbooks etc.),
• Security (General Grounds Security and Experienced Stage Security at all events)
• Opening Ceremonies Support (Ticket takers, directing attendees, plus other needs)
• Hospitality at Host Hotels (Providing directions and event information)
• Field Directors (oversees all activities at the a Softball Complex)
• Field Administrators (collecting scores, stocking water in dug-outs, answering questions, hospitality etc.)
• Talent Show Support (Sign ups, back stage support etc.)
• Operations/Logistics Support (event set up and tear down, fields ancillary equipment set up, delivery to events & fields etc.)
• Closing Ceremonies (Ticket takers, awards coordinators, plus other needs)

Friday August 28 – September 7, 2009

We will need over 250 volunteers to help with the following:
